How The Program Works
At a pastor's invite, a representative for Covenants for Kids & Youth presents an overview to church members usually on Sunday morning or during weekly Bible Study. Members in good standing who are interested in volunteering are invited to complete a brief information sheet with their name, mobile number, and email.
Volunteers are invited to attend training and are thoroughly vetted before they bring youth to their church. Youth usually reside within an 8-10 mile radius of the volunteer's church. Youth may attend Bible study, choir rehearsal, and other church services.
As youth interact with church members, a permanent connection is made with caring adults. This connection is especially significant when youth emancipate from foster care.
The goal is to expand this program nationwide because every child deserves a church family. If your church is interested in Covenants for Kids & Youth, please complete the form below. Donations are welcome and help us with this work.
